Our Mission Statement

The Daughter’s of Zion Women’s Ministry of Praise Chapel, Douglasville is an established but growing ministry. Our primary focus is to provide a way for women to connect with and grow in Jesus Christ through life changing relationships.  We prayerfully plan and provide our women (twenty one years and older) with opportunities to meet together away from the larger church family, and give them an opportunity to get to know each other through purposeful relationships.  We have in-reach, and outreach activities that encourage the women to build and deepen bonds of friendship as to avoid feelings of loneliness in times where what is needed is support.  We want to make each woman feel special in God’s sight, and help them find a ministry in which they can serve purposefully.  It is an honor and a privilege to serve our women and it gives us joy to see them blossom and grow as they become all that God made them to be. 

Our ministry is exciting and our activities aren’t in place to just fill up spaces on the calendar.  We invite you to join us at one of our breakfast meetings held every second Saturday of the month.  Our God of wonders who is able to give beauty for ashes, oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, will do wonderful things in our church, our ministries, and in our individual lives.
